This custom built log cabin near Nantahala, NC features hardwood floors with tasteful area rugs throughout, vaulted ceiling with exposed wood beams, and a handcrafted split log staircase. Luxurious furnishings and unique accent pieces, carefully chosen by the owners, are there for you to enjoy.
The
spacious, open kitchen has granite countertops and stainless appliances
including refrigerator, gas stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, and trash
compactor. Quality cookware, utensils and dinnerware provided, as well
as coffeemaker, blender and toaster.
Enjoy a snack at the large kitchen bar with seating for four, or the large dining room table with bench and chair seating for six. French doors opening onto the side porch give diners an expansive view of the mountains.
Gentle ridge top breezes help keep the cabin cool, and you may find
you prefer the ceiling fans to the central air. Fall in the mountains
is a special time and the nights are cool enough to use the central heat.
There are telephones throughout the house for local calls; use your credit card for long distance calls.
