Stag Crossing’s location is ideal — in the Nantahala community, east of Andrews, NC and just a half-hour west of Bryson City. Cabin rentals are scattered throughout the area, but few can match this Smokey Mountain cabin’s luxurious comfort and spectacular view.

Stag Crossing’s great room features a large, stacked stone gas fireplace with a unique log mantle. Floor-to-ceiling windows invite the outside in; and if you can take your eyes off the view, you’ll enjoy the big screen satellite TV and DVD while relaxing on comfy leather sofas.

     The master suite of this Smokey Mountain cabin has a queen-sized bed with a handcrafted log headboard, soft linens and towels; and a willow chaise lounge where you can unwind and enjoy a view of the mountains. The master bath has double sinks, a jetted tub for two, and large shower with a custom slate surface.

One upstairs bedroom has a queen-sized bed with a custom ultra suede padded headboard, soft linens, and a balcony. The second upstairs bedroom features a queen-sized bed with a custom leather-look padded headboard, soft linens, and welcomes the morning sunshine. This is known as the Moose Room for its colorful “moose” dressed for winter fun.

The two upstairs bedrooms share a bathroom with granite sink, and a shower/tub. There’s also a large landing upstairs, with plenty of books and magazines on hand for late night reading or for catching the early morning light.
